The direct routes (most reliable)
Boquete Coffee Traders ships worldwide with free FedEx/DHL Express on orders over $70 — a strong option for any EU address. PanamaGoods ships from Panama City by DHL Express at a flat $50 per box to Europe, up to 2 kg, with up to four bags fitting in one box — the per-bag shipping math improves if you combine bags. Producer-direct orders (Café Suarez) are possible but shipping arrangements vary; ask before ordering.
Roasters and importers in Europe
The Barn (Berlin) and Gardelli Specialty Coffees (Italy) have both carried Panama lots — at our September 30, 2026 check, The Barn's Los Lajones Gesha and Gardelli's Hartmann Pacamara were sold out, so treat EU roaster Panama as a watch-the-calendar category rather than standing stock. For green buyers, Sucafina's offering pages are the documented importer inventory route. UK shops (Sigma, Sea Island, La Huella's UK store) deliver to the UK; EU buyers ordering from them should expect customs handling post-Brexit.
What shipping does to the math
Buying directly from Panama does not automatically mean a fresher roast or a lower total price — it means a shorter last-mile after the roaster's own schedule, plus a flat shipping cost that can dominate small orders. Two bags in one DHL box at PanamaGoods halve the per-bag shipping; a single 250 g bag carries the full $50. Compare per-100g coffee prices first, then add shipping per bag honestly.
