Chiriquí is the westernmost province of Panama and contains all of the country's principal specialty coffee areas: the districts of Boquete, Tierras Altas (including Volcán and Cerro Punta) and Renacimiento, all on the slopes and foothills of Volcán Barú. A coffee labeled simply 'Chiriquí' comes from one of these overlapping areas — not a separate region.
