Producer-direct
Lamastus Family Estates maintains a dedicated green-coffee samples page for roaster inquiries. Finca Sophia distributes its annual harvest through a whole-harvest release with an inquiry form. Janson Coffee Farm lists its products and takes green inquiries through its site. Producer-direct gets you lot-level detail and farm relationships, but expect harvest-cycle timing: Panama's shipping season follows the January–April harvest, and top farms allocate much of their crop before it ships.
Importer inventory
Importers hold lots available now. Sucafina's offering page for Carmen Estate fully washed Caturra is the working example on this site: it's a specific available offering, not a general inquiry page — the distinction matters when you're comparing lead times. Importer links on our green-coffee page are labeled 'View importer offering' for exactly that reason.
Auctions and private releases
Best of Panama (run since 2004 by the Specialty Coffee Association of Panama) plus estate auctions — Hacienda La Esmeralda's annual auction since 2007, Lamastus' private auction, Longboard Specialty Coffee's second private auction of fourteen Geisha lots scheduled for October 2026 — and Finca Sophia's whole-harvest model. Auctions deliver the very top lots at auction prices; they are price discovery, not a sourcing routine for most small roasters.
Before you commit: the questions that matter
Confirm the lot exists now (harvest year, quantity), the sample policy, minimum order quantity, packaging (GrainPro or equivalent), warehouse location, and the price basis — FOB, DDP, or another term. Our sample-request guide lists the full checklist. And read every channel link for what it is: producer inquiry, importer offering, or retail bag.
